Configuring the archiving policy
The archiving policy defines how long emails are retained in the archive.
- Click Email Archiving then Policies.
- Click Edit next to the default policy.

- Click Save.

Regulatory requirements in the UAE and other jurisdictions may require specific email retention periods. Consult your legal or compliance team before setting the retention period.
Verifying archiving is working
After setting up, allow up to 30 minutes for the first emails to appear in the archive.
- Click Email Archiving then Archive.
- Search for a recent email you sent or received.
- If it appears, archiving is working correctly.

If emails are not appearing after 1 hour, check the connection status under Email Archiving then Sources and contact Bamboozle Support if the source shows an error.
